Chancing Tomorrow

So I haven't quite bought it yet because I CAN'T F'KING FIND IT! Ok, well I found it but it was like $40 for the battle-chest and just...no

Anyways, I've decided to buy it off amazon.com but I figured in the meantime you guys who have played it could tell me a little bit about the game and the multi-player mode. I downloaded the demo and I'm playing that while I wait for my order to come in.

I just want to know what you guys think of it. Experiences? Information?
This is my attempt to try something new...that is old. Yeah.
I've been hearing about this damn game since I played WoW and the fact that people who are addicted like crack to WoW STILL come back to play WC3 has always been sort of interesting to me.

no, not WC3, but specific custom maps like DoTA / OpenRPG / Tower Defense. People who play WoW dont return to WC3 to play the actual RTS.

So to some ppl (like me), it is dumb to buy a whole game + expansion just to play a map.

Two things here:

1) I'm actually interested in the WoW lore and a lot of that came from Warcraft, which is why I'm interested in the single player aspect of it since it does have a pretty good story behind the game.

2) So are you saying that I shouldn't even bother buying the battlechest? Because I'm pretty sure you need the original WC3 and FT to even play DoTA and the others.

Play d2 instead. It's pure win.

well if you are THAT interested in the warcraft lore... then get wc 1 2 and 3 with FT then.. and get all the books too (thats what my friend did, he has the whole WC novels collection), if ur even more hardcore, go buy the WoW Trading Cards too..

What I'm saying is that it would be necessary to buy WC3 and FT to play DoTA and that stuff you mentioned, which I do want to play eventually. I'd just rather play through the single player mode "first" and THEN play DoTA.

I don't think it's really necessary to have to play WC 1 and 2. I heard WC3 was the best and besides, it's the one that comes w/ the Battlechest..the others don't.

Barb - tank it.
Sorc - get merc, shoot spell, die , respawn - repeat.
Amazon - tank + shoot + merc
Necro - golem + merc + spell + die , respawn - repeat
Paladin - tank it.
Assassin - tank it + merc + die,respawn - repeat.
Druid - tank it / die, respawn - repeat.

Too bad he kills my entire army of minions and my merc with about one hit each. No Dark..he's not that easy, lol. I'm playing in normal mode btw and supposedly he's one of hardest, if not the hardest boss, before Diablo himself.

oh.. ur a skel necro ... u dun use skel against duriel, juz get iron golem or blood ... or if ur still stuck with clay, get merc with thorns aura and use thorns + golem to dmg it.

Ive played diablo for as long as i had for lineage2, to a point i was so bored, i used MF bot for bnet which made it even more boring, so i quit.

counter/suspend deck can beat anti-land so easily ...

and blair, to beat D2 = finish hell mode + cow level. If not, you've beat nothing in D2 ;x, if u wanna go further, beat hell mode + cow hell with hardcore char ;o

Original pokemon cards > all

LOL! Now here's a topic. I collected the pokemon cards since I was like..12. I think I have around 300 or so cards. I never played pokemon though, I just collected. I also played MTG and even went to a tournament in Lincoln, NE when I dated my first boyfriend there. Blue basically owns all if you know how to play it. Land-based usually have some pretty large HP in there, but they're definitely easy to take down

...Only 300?

I have more fucking Foil Pokémon cards than you even have Pokémon cards.
